After record operating results for 2008, the recent acquisition of Oilexco North Sea Limited with extensive North Sea interests, long term gas supply contracts in place and almost US$800M of development funding approved, Premier’s future outlook is very strong.

Operationally, Gajah Baru is currently in the final stages of the award process. This 7500 ton integrated platform will be bridge linked to a drilling platform, with product exported via a new 3.5 km pipeline to an existing trunk line. It will also act as the hub for developing several other fields over the next decade. In addition, ongoing developments in North Sumatra Block A will see three new gas fields coming on stream during 2011. Premier is also preparing for future development activities in the area as larger reserves have been identified. In Vietnam, construction work on a wellhead platform continues in Vung Tau, and discussions with potential FPSO providers are moving towards a final agreement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the Emergency Response duty roster.
• Conduct induction training for new Emergency Response Team members. Coordinate Emergency Response exercises and training for Emergency Response Team members, evaluating effectiveness of teams and recommending improvements.
• Deliver safety training for both offshore & onshore staff (e.g. Permit To Work, Hazardous Area classifications)
• Coordinate office safety inspections, maintain records and monitor Corrective Action requests.
• Attend departmental HSE meetings, recording recommendations and managing their implementation
• Identify potential risks and recommend controls to reduce hazards within Jakarta office.
• Establish standards for Personal Protective equipment procurement, selection and use.
• Identify and procure required safety visual aids and references.
• Coordinate MIGAS /BP MIGAS HSE inspections, manage government reporting and ensure compliance to government and corporate requirements
• Provide technical expertise and support to Field Safety Officers.
• Evaluate the offshore HSE Program.
• Monitor/perform incident investigations, maintain records and follow all corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain the accident/incident database.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant HSE or Engineering discipline
• Industry specific HSE courses and acreditations
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• MS Office skills
• Minimum 10 years experience within upstream oil and gas
• Minimum 5 years experience within a specialist HSE position
• Authorised to work permanently in Indonesia

Responsibilities

• Review engineering project criteria and identify any environmental issues/concerns
• Coordinate efforts to meet the requirements of PROPER (government environmental compliance rating system)
• Evaluate the environmental impact of new designs, processes or non-routine activities within the business, and provide solutions where required.
• Identify potential risks and recommend controls to eliminate or minimize any adverse impact
• Develop and monitor implementation of an Environmental Management system. Develop related training programmes to develop environmental awareness within on- and off-shore staff
• Develop environmental auditing protocols and manage audits of facilities.
• Monitor Corrective Action requests and resultant actions
• Provide advice to operational groups around areas such as waste management, chemical assessment, oil spill management.
• Ensure compliance with government and corporate requirements
• Develop and deliver new initiatives (e.g. energy efficiency, water conservation, hazardous waste reduction), and participate in professional/technical development activities within the environmental discipline.
• Manage corporate and regulatory reporting

Requirements

• General
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science.
  • Minimum 15 years experience in upstream oil & gas industry, 10+ years within an environmental discipline.
  • Fluent English both written and spoken
• Authorised to work permanently within Indonesia
• Industry specific environmental related training and accreditations (minimum AMDAL “B”).
• Working knowledge of all environmental regulations e.g. ISO 14001, EIA (AMDAL, UKL/UPL)
• MS Office, environmental database systems

Responsibilities

• Complete schedule tasks as per approved maintenance plans, update CMMS system
• Supervision of and support to external contractors.
• Support maintenance and electrical specialists, relief Senior Engineer duties when required.
• Watch-keeping duties onboard the FPSO.
• Carry out bunkering activities in conjunction with Material Coordinators and Lead Cargo Technician.

Requirements

• 5 years experience in a Marine environment within upstream oil and gas
• Certified gas tester and isolation authority within the PONSBV Permit To Work system
• HUET, Sea and Offshore Survival Training, Fire Fighting Training certificates
• Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency 2nd Class Level
• Experience in planned maintenance systems, and hydrocarbon process maintenance and operations
• Authorised to work permanently in Indonesia

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled tasks from approved maintenance plans and CMMS, updating systems to record activity
• Support maintenance and I/C Technicians in diagnosis of technical problems.
• Support maintenance and trouble shooting on FPSO Process Control System, support external contractors.
• Routine testing of emergency response equipment.

Requirements

• Technical College qualifications (Electrical) or Instrumentation certificates
• 5+ years within upstream Oil and Gas Industry
• Current Survival, HUET and Fire Fighting Training certificates
• Experience in planned maintenance systems, emergency response processes
